God has shown us his strategy for knowing Him, becoming like Him and serving Him. We believe that strategy is summed up in three simple words. Gospel. Community. Mission.
The Gospel is ultimately about giving up. Each of us have failed in keeping God’s perfect standard and are guilty before Him. We must stop trying to be “good enough” and recognize that Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross in our place is sufficient to bring us to God. We believe the Gospel and are saved as we do.
At Frederick Boulevard, we ask each member to participate in one worship service each week, as we worship together, rejoicing in God and His Gospel.
God intends for us to grow in His Gospel. His desire is for us to become more and more like His Son, Jesus Christ. He intends for this to happen in the context of biblical community. Fellowship, intimacy, authenticity, accountability & worship are all vital in the midst of biblical community.
At Frederick Boulevard we ask every member to join a Sunday School class or an off campus small group, as we commit to being in community with other Christ followers.
The great purpose of our lives, once we have believed God’s Gospel, is to join God in His mission to the world. We bring glory to God as we trust Him and as we serve people from our local communities to the ends of the globe and share with them the story of God’s grace to the world.
At Frederick Boulevard we ask every member to commit themselves in service through one mission ministry through our church. In doing, we help our church accomplish our vision of “helping those who are disconnected from God to become committed followers of Jesus Christ”.
