Shawn Caraway, Executive Pastor

Shawn was blessed to grow up with his twin brother and older sister in a Christian family in Northwest Florida. His life verse is Philippians 1:6, “Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” God began a good work in Shawn at an early age. He used Christian parents and grandparents as well as various ministries at their local church to help him understand his need to be saved. When Shawn was 10 years old God particularly used a revival service, Vacation Bible School, and his mother to help him surrender his life to Jesus Christ.

Apart from his relationship with Jesus, the greatest joy of his life is his wife, Sarah. Their love for the Lord and love for each other are deeply intertwined. They have been blessed with two beautiful daughters, Abby and Della. Their family strives to honor the Lord in all of their ways.

Shawn and Sarah graduated from the Baptist College of Florida and have both served on church staffs in various capacities. God has gifted Sarah with the ministry of music. She has served several churches as Worship Leader and has also taught voice and piano lessons. Shawn has ministered in youth and
pastoral ministries. Before coming to Frederick Boulevard, Shawn spent the last ten and one half years as the Associate Pastor of a church in Northwest Florida.

In his spare time Shawn loves to spend time with his family and hunting or fishing in God’s great outdoors.

The desire of Shawn’s life is to walk daily with the Lord and honor Him until the good work that God began in his life is ultimately completed in Christ.
